The calculation
Required Souls = the sum of costs for each level transition you selected. Missing Souls = max(required − owned, 0). If each run guarantees a positive amount, runs = ceiling(missing ÷ guaranteed Souls per run).
If you already have enough Souls, the gap and runs are 0. If the reward is unknown or zero while a gap remains, a run count cannot be calculated. Random drops, party reward conditions, entry limits and time per run are not modeled.
A worked hypothetical example
Suppose level 1 → 2 costs 25 Souls and level 2 → 3 costs 75. With 20 owned Souls, the requirement is 100 and the gap is 80. If a run guarantees 5 Souls, you need 16 runs. These are example inputs, not a claim about the live cost or drop rate of any pet.
