AION 2 Pets Tier List
A provisional collection-priority tier list. It evaluates the next task, not a pet’s universal combat strength.
How these tiers work
Start here: a named early-route option with a listed owned effect, provided that the monster and reward are accessible to you. Conditional: a useful effect or ability, but a more specific route, later variant or unresolved reward detail. Not rated: too little acquisition context to suggest an order.
These tiers are conditional on your region and current progress. They are editorial starting points, not measured PvP or DPS results. We do not calculate a score from unknown drop rates.
Start here: inspect your accessible variant
NaturaCommon
Konutin Worker
Stamina +3
A Natura pet whose listed field source is the Tolbas Konutin Worker in Verteron. Its reported owned effects match the Natura progression shown for Black Smoke Murute.
13 listed source conditionsView pet →
CogniCommon
Krall Laborer
HP +10
A Cogni pet with reported HP, Critical Hit and Might owned effects. Krall Armed Soldier, Krall Sentinel and Mutated Krall Laborer are the listed Verteron soul sources.
7 listed source conditionsView pet →
Papis can align with travel; Konutin Worker offers a Natura collection route; Krall Laborer adds a Cogni option. Confirm the actual variant and reward before treating any as an early farm.
Conditional: match the route and upgrade

Black Smoke Murute
Stamina +3
A Natura pet associated with the Fire Temple in community references. Its reported owned effects emphasize Stamina, Critical Hit Resist and Precision.

Forest Specter
Stamina +3
A Natura pet linked to Canyon Vine Spirit and Tainted Vine Specter in Verteron. The listed progression adds Stamina, Critical Hit Resist and Precision.
6 listed source conditionsView pet →
Rotan depends on your travel priorities and accessible source. Murute is tied to a dungeon source with conflicting reward descriptions. Forest Specter is an alternative Natura target: compare its route with the Worker rather than assuming a higher combat grade.
Not rated yet
Fossa, Sparkie, Potcrab, Baby Odyle Spider, Fungie, Swarm have readable records, but are not assigned an acquisition priority in this launch tier list. Not rated does not mean bad.
Turn the tier into a plan
Choose a target in Best Pets, confirm its source and region, and calculate the exact Soul gap with your client’s upgrade costs. Revisit the order when a patch or your progress changes.
